METHOD FOR PROCESSING A FMCW(FREQUENCY MODULATED CONTINUOUS WAVE) RADAR SIGNAL CAPABLE OF OBTAINING THE HIGH RESOLUTION DISTANCE DATA OF NOT ONLY A SHORT DISTANCE OBJECT BUT ALSO A LONG DISTANCE OBJECT IN A NARROW BAND
PURPOSE: A method for processing a FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar signal is provided to shorten sampling time by going through phase change, which is necessary in a DSP(Digital Signal Processor), for the FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) calculation of data obtained from a given bandwidth.;CONSTITUTION: A sampled data is extracted from a received signal which is reflected from a target object(S101). The phase of the sampled data is displaced at a predetermined size(S103). Data displaced in a phase become faded(S105). A FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) calculation is operated(S109). A maximum signal is detected through the FFT calculation(S111). A distance from a target object is calculated by using the maximum signal(S113).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
