PURPOSE: An adversary elimination method using recognition of an automobile plate in an intelligent transportation system is provided to protect a system from attack by distinguishing an attacker through automatic recognition of a plate number. CONSTITUTION: A traffic message generating unit(130) generates a traffic message. The traffic message comprises traffic information, location information of the vehicles, and car number information and traffic message sequence number of the vehicles. An evidence message generating unit(140) generates the evidence message. The evidence message comprises the car number information, the evidence message sequence number created the traffic message sequence number, the evidence message generation location information, and the evidence message. The message receiving unit(100) receives a traffic message or the evidence message. A message transmitter(150) broadcasts the traffic message or the evidence message.
