PURPOSE: A ship side structure of an oil prospecting ship is provided to mount an additional structure or transform a lateral surface unit of a ship, thereby obtaining a larger operating space without increasing important sizes of an oil prospecting ship constructed by a newest design.;CONSTITUTION: A ship side structure of an oil prospecting ship comprises a structure(110). The structure is fixed to the upper part of a ship side of an oil prospecting ship and extended from an edge of an upper deck to the outside of the ship side. The structure comprises an extended plate and fixed plate. The extended plate is extended from the edge of the upper deck to the outside of a hull.
