PURPOSE: A fireproof gypsum board composition and a fireproof gypsum board manufactured by the same are provided to drastically improve external look properties in a crossed section of the gypsum board.;CONSTITUTION: A fireproof gypsum board composition comprises 1-5 parts by weight of ceramics fiber containing silicon dioxide and alumina, 3-10 parts by weight of pyrophyllite powder, and 5-15 parts by weight of mica based on 100 parts by weight of hemi-hydrate. The ceramics fiber component is heat resistant fiber having safety use temperature of 1300 deg. Celsius. The weight ratio of the alumina to silicon dioxide is 1:0.75-1:1.1. The pyrophyllite element contains 70-85 wt% of silicon dioxide, 10-25 wt% of alumina, and 3-5 wt% of water, and has the average particle diameter of 5.5-7.5 micro meters. The mica element contains 70-80 wt% of silicon dioxide and 20-30 wt% of alumina, and has the average particle diameter of 0.6-0.1mm. The fireproof gypsum board additionally includes 0.1-10 parts by weight of glass fiber, 0.3-7 parts by weight of gypsum hardener, 0.2-2 parts by weight of starch, and 60-100 parts by weight of water based on 100 parts by weight of the hemi-hydrate component.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
