PURPOSE: A door lock device for building and a driving method thereof are provided to drive a key module at a short distance without direct contact.;CONSTITUTION: An electronic sensor(4) senses an electronic signal outputted in a key module and determines whether the electronic signal is same with a set electronic signal or not. The electronic sensor creates a drive command of a driver(5). The driver passively or automatically changes a key hole(6) into opening or closing state. The key hole comprises an antenna, a small sized bulb, and a small speaker. A key passively or automatically drives a door lock device by being inserted into the key hole. The set electronic signal is outputted in the electronic sensor and the driver is closed when a close button of the key module is operated.
