摘要

PURPOSE: A self propelled tension control apparatus for a tension leg platform is provided to install a tension leg platform in the sea having a large tidal range by automatically controlling the tension of tensile members of the tension leg platform in case of changing the sea level.;CONSTITUTION: A self propelled tension control apparatus for a tension leg platform comprises direction change pulleys(100) and a centralized weight body(200). The direction change pulleys are respectively installed in multiple floating bodies(11) to change a tensile direction of tensile members(W). The multiple floating bodies provide buoyancy. The centralized weight body is connected to the tensile members of which the tensile direction is changed by the direction change pulleys. The centralized weight bodies apply constant tensile force to each tension member with self weight to maintain constant tension of the tensile member even in case of changing the sea level.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
