PURPOSE: A backup roll for a rolling machine is provided to minimize the bending change of a roll due to the abrasion of a backup roll by forming a round curve in the end of the roll.;CONSTITUTION: A backup roll for a rolling machine(100) comprises first and second curved portions(C1,C2) and a changer portion(CF1). The first curved portion is formed in the center of a roll from a spot spaced from a roll end(E) at a first set length(X1). The second curved portion is connected to the first curved portion and is extended to a spot spaced from the roll end at a second set length(X2). The chamfer portion is formed between the end of the second curved portion and the end of the roll.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
