PURPOSE: An electric wave tracking apparatus and method of a broadband bulk high-speed communication system are provided to improve the accuracy of electric wave tracking compared to the conventional method based on Snell's law.;CONSTITUTION: An electric wave tracking apparatus of a broadband bulk high-speed communication system comprises an electric wave receiving unit(10), a scattering distribution characteristic analysis unit(20), a reflection signal analysis unit(30), and a received power calculating unit(40). The electric wave receiving unit receives a reflection signal reflected off an obstacle. The scattering distribution characteristic analysis unit analyzes the scattering distribution characteristic of the received reflection signal. The reflection signal analysis unit analyzes the scattering distribution characteristic to distinguish oriented and non-oriented signals. The received power calculating unit compares the magnitudes of the oriented and non-oriented signals distinguished by the reflection signal analysis unit and calculates the received power of the reflection signal according to the comparison result.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
