PURPOSE: An environment-friendly biodegradable film is provided to be manufactured by low cost together with having excellent thermal properties and mechanical properties enough to use for disposable products.;CONSTITUTION: An environment-friendly biodegradable film is manufactured by molding a composition containing 40-90 weight% of nano-sized sodium montmorillonite, and 10-60 weight% of modified thermoplastic starch to a film. The size of the sodium montmorillonite is 10-55,000 nm. The sodium montmorillonite is obtained by purification of montmorillonite in sodium chloride aqueous solution. The modified thermoplastic starch is manufactured by mixing 20-30 parts by weight of plasticizer, 2-5 parts by weight of compatibilizer, and 0.2-0.5 parts by weight of an initiator into 100.0 parts by weight of the starch.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
