摘要

PURPOSE: Supported copper catalysts for manufacturing dimethyl carbonate based on the oxidative carbonylation of methanol are provided to improve the selectivity of the catalyst to the dimethyl carbonate and to reduce the corrosivity of the catalyst. CONSTITUTION: Supported copper catalyst is catalyst supporting copper ions and metallic ions selected from alkali metals and alkali earth metals in zeolite supports. The content of the copper ions is between 30 and 100 parts by weight and the content of the metallic ions is between 1 to 30 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the zeolite supports. Dimethyl carbonate is obtained by implementing the reaction of methanol, carbon monoxide, and oxygen under the catalyst in a batch type liquid-based reactor or a continuous type gas-based reactor.
