PURPOSE: A graphene oxide nano-composite which is modified with water-based polyurethane/vinyl and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve thermal and mechanical properties of the waterborne polyurethane nano-composite. CONSTITUTION: A graphene oxide nano-composite which is modified with water-based polyurethane/vinyl is manufactured by chemically bonding waterborne polyurethane having a vinyl group at the end to a graphene oxide which is modified with the vinyl group. A content amount of the graphene oxide is 0.5-2.0 weight% based pm total content amount of the nano-composite. A manufacturing method of the graphene oxide nano-composite which is modified with water-based polyurethane/vinyl comprises next steps: modifying end of the graphene oxide end with the vinyl group; manufacturing isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer; forming a vinyl-terminated urethane prepolymer from the isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer; mixing the graphene oxide reformed with the vinyl group with the vinyl-terminated urethane prepolymer; forming dispersed water composite by neutralization and waterborne of the mixture; and UV hardening the composite.
