PURPOSE: A hybrid artificial swamp for protecting coasts and natural swamps is provided to effectively treat heavy metals and particulate materials contained in non-point pollutants and nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus and to restore an ecosystem. CONSTITUTION: A pre-treating part(A) is prepared. A pond-type free flowing artificial swamp installing part(B) includes a pond-type free flowing artificial swamp(20) in connection with the pre-treating part. A water-path type natural flowing artificial swamp installing part(C) includes a water path(30) in connection with the pond-type free flowing artificial swamp installing part and a natural flowing artificial swamp(40) around the water path. A mixed type underground flowing artificial swamp installing part(D) is in connection with the water path and includes a horizontal underground flowing artificial swamp(50) and a vertical underground flowing artificial swamp(60). A pond-type natural flowing artificial swamp installing part(E) is in connection with the mixed type underground flowing artificial swamp installing part and includes a pond-type natural flowing artificial swamp(70).
