PURPOSE: The multi-staged heat-treating method of an electric-resistance welded steel pipe and a method for manufacturing the steel pipe are provided to micronize the welding structure of the electric-resistance welded steel pipe by implementing a quenching operation and subsequently a tempering process. CONSTITUTION: The multi-staged heat-treating method of an electric-resistance welded steel pipe includes the following: the welding part of an electric-resistance welded steel pipe is heated at a temperature between 900 and 1000 degrees Celsius to an austenite transformation point, and the heated steel pipe is rapidly cooled to the room temperature to be quenched(S100); and the cooled steel pipe is slowly cooled to be tempered at a temperature between 650 and 950 degrees Celsius(S200).
