PURPOSE: A method of detecting impurities in aqueous solution of high temperature and a detecting device thereof are provided to measure a current change when a noble metal electrode is moved to a resting potential because a speed in which an oxide film is formed on a surface of the noble metal electrode is decreased in case impure ion exists.;CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting impurities in aqueous solution of high temperature comprises a noble metal electrode, a counterpart electrode, a potential applying and current measuring device. The noble metal electrode is a first knit or an alloy selected from a group consisting of the platinum, gold, rhenium, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium and iridium The noble metal electrode is a first knit or an alloy selected from a group consisting of the platinum, gold, and palladium. The noble metal electrode is the platinum or an alloy thereof. The counterpart electrode is selected from a group comprising a structural material contacting a metal, a conductivity nonmetal, and aqueous solution of high temperature.
