PURPOSE: A target fusion method for applying fusion criteria of different weight values for each distance range in a multi-target processing device is provided to improve the processing accuracy by considering not only the accuracy of a distance between a own ship and target, a direction, and an elevation angle but also a detection property of a sensor according to various operational environment.;CONSTITUTION: A target fusion method for applying fusion criteria of different weight values for each distance range in a multi-target processing device is as follows. A target fusion constant and an initial value of a distance weight value for each distance range(aA=aB=aC=a0, bA=bB=bC=b0) are set by considering a characteristic of detection accuracy provided from a sensor(S411). A test and analysis is performed by a target fusion accuracy analytical tool after saving logging data of a target in a saving unit by setting a target fusion distance reference initial value and operating a target fusion test(S420,S421,S422,S423). A specification of a target fusion requirement(Pd) with respect to a target fusion accuracy(Ps) is determined so that the target fusion constant, a range of a distance weight value, distance weight values of distances between a own ship and target are reset(S430,S431,S432,S433).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
