PURPOSE: A personnel hard armor is provided to gradually diminish impact energy of enemy's shells by combining layered hybrid armor material for personnel armor.;CONSTITUTION: A personnel hard armor comprises a CNTRPCP(Carbon Nano-tubes-Reinforced-Polycarbonate-Polymer) layer(100), a CNTRPUP(Carbon Nano-tubes-Reinforced-Polyurethane-Polymer) layer(200), a UHMWPE(Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene) layer(300), a spall liner layer(400), a kevlar XP bullet-proof fabric layer(500), and a Nomex heat-resistant fabric layer(600). The CNTRPCP layer comprises a CNTRPCP welded by an adhesive in the underside of the carbon nano-tube strengthening ceramic layer. The UHMWPE layer is welded by an adhesive in the underside of the CNTRPUP layer. The UHMWPE layer absorbs an impact, thereby preventing a blunt force trauma. The spall liner layer is welded by an adhesive in the underside of the UHMWPE layer. The spall liner layer absorbs an impact, thereby preventing a spalling and scabbing. The kevlar XP bullet-proof fabric layer wraps the spall liner layer The kevlar XP bullet-proof fabric layer wraps other layers to finally absorb impact energy.
