PURPOSE: An optical module and an atomic oscillator are provided to offer a fundamental wave by irradiating light from semiconductor laser which is modulated from a driving current.;CONSTITUTION: A light source(10) generates first light which includes a first sideband wave and a second sideband wave. A wavelength selection means(20) selects the first sideband wave and the second sideband wave and transmits. The wavelength selection means irradiates second light. Alkali metal gas is sealed in a gas cell(30). The optical detection means detects intensity of the second light which is transmitted in the gas cell. A first mirror and a second mirror which are faced each other reflect the first light. A base plate is arranged between the first mirror and the second mirror.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
