PURPOSE: A probe for determining insecticide resistance mutation in whitefly Bemisia tabaci is provided to ensure high specificity and sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A probe for determining insecticide resistance mutation contains an oligonucleotide having base sequences of sequence numbers 15-26 and a complementary oligonucleotide thereof. The mutation in Ace1 gene relating to organophosphorus insecticide tolerance is F39W mutation. The mutation in vgsc gene relating to pyrethroid tolerance is M918V, L925I, or T929V mutation. The length of the probe is 18-23 bp for optimal temperature for hybridization.
