PURPOSE: A traffic dispersing method of a mVoIP(mobile Voice over Internet Protocol) service based on a wireless network and gateway apparatus therefor are provided to prevent the overload of a mobile communication core-network system according to the increasing of the mVoIP service based on various home networks.;CONSTITUTION: A message analysis unit(220) analyzes a message received by a user terminal which includes the usage authority of a mVoIP service. The message analysis unit analyzes the header unit of the analyzed message. In case the received message is matched with a signaling message which transmits control information, a routing unit(230) distributes the signal message to a core-network. In case the received message is matched with user data, the routing unit transmits the message to a public IP(Internet Protocol) network.
