PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for testing the performance of a longitudinal smoke control facility of a tunnel are provided to confirm phenomena including the backflow of smoke in the event of a fire in a tunnel.;CONSTITUTION: A method for testing the performance of a longitudinal smoke control facility of a tunnel comprises a section spot setting step(S10) for setting a plurality of section spots to install test equipment including a fire source, a test equipment installation step(S20) for installing test equipment in the set section spots, a first measurement step(S30) for igniting the fire source and measuring the flow characteristic of air in a tunnel using the test equipment, a smoke control facility operating step(S40) for activating a smoke control facility after a set time from the ignition of the fire source, a second measurement step(S50) for measuring the characteristics of air flow in the tunnel after the activation of the smoke control facility, and a performance estimation step(S60) for estimating the performance of the smoke control facility based on the data measured through the first and second measurement steps.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
