PURPOSE: A light amplification system for controlling a light channel gain based on AWG(Arrayed Waveguide Grating) is provided to improve the network of a communication business by enabling a user to select wavelengths according to the request of a user. CONSTITUTION: A branched WSS(Wavelength selection switch) uses a branch coupler using AWG. An embedded WSS uses an inserting coupler using the AWG. A DCE(Dynamic Channel Equalizer) uses the AWG and a variable light attenuator. A light signal analysis unit uses an OCM(Optical Channel Monitor). A control unit controls functions of the light signal analysis unit, the branched WSS, the DCE, the light signal analysis unit. An input and output control program controls the control unit.
