PURPOSE: A c-Myc inhibitor composition containing ascochlorin is provided to suppress c-Myc and to ensure excellent anti-cancer and anti-tumor effect.;CONSTITUTION: A c-Myc inhibitor composition contains ascochlorin of chemical formula and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. A functional pharmaceutical composition for anti-cancer or anti-tumor contains ascochlorin of chemical formula as an active ingredient. Ascochlorin is isolated from hypolipidemic matetrial of Ascochyta viciae culture liquid. The composition is taken by oral administration or parenteral administration.
