PURPOSE: A removable basket including filtering particles for fixed bed reactors is provided to reduce the frequency of filtering bed replacing operations and to facilitate the replacing operation of a filtering bed.;CONSTITUTION: A distributing and filtering device is arranged at the upstream of the catalytic bed of a reactor. The device is composed of a plurality of baskets containing filtering particles. The baskets are supported by a filtering plate which is fixed to the wall of the reactor. The assembly of the baskets forms a filtering bed, and the filtering bed covers at least center part of the cross section of the reactor. Each basket is defined a lateral wall(1) and a bottom wall(2). The lateral wall and the bottom wall of the basket are penetrated by an orifice.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
