The method of prognosis for the success of filtering surgery in a subject is based on determining the expression level of at least one gene, wherein the differential expression of said genes with respect to a reference sample is indicative of whether or not the subject will respond to surgery correctly. The invention also relates to a method for determining the progress of a cicatrization process of a subject.
