The present invention relates to a data collection method for a large-scale network and network node. According to the method, the nodes in the entire network are organized according to an N-tree structure, and a recursive mode is used for the statistical collection of the node information so that the monitoring data of the large-scale network nodes are statistically collected in real time without the need to modify the statistical algorithm and other service logics, thus greatly improving the speed of statistical collection of indices such as global resource utilization of the entire network, thereby satisfying in time application scenario requirements such as resource scheduling in time, and greatly reducing the maintenance cost of the large-scale network nodes at the same time.
