A disease case study search device (100) comprises: an image similarity determination unit (103) which computes an image similarity between first interpreted image data which an image interpretation object acquisition unit (102) has acquired and second interpreted image data which is logged in a disease case history database (101); a text similarity determination unit (104) which computes a text similarity of first interpreted image information which the image interpretation object acquisition unit (102) has acquired and second interpreted image information which is logged in the disease case history database (101); and a contrasting disease case history search unit (105) which searches for disease case history data from among the disease case history data stored in the disease case history database (101), giving greater priority to disease case history data the greater the image similarity which is determined by the image similarity determination unit (103) and the smaller the text similarity which is determined by the text similarity determination unit (104).
