摘要

The unit (10) has an activation unit (30) and a monitoring unit (40) connected with each other by a data transmission unit (11). A processing unit (31) of the activation unit evaluates a signal of a real-time clock (32) or a sensor module (33). A processing unit (41) of the monitoring unit transmits position data to a central data processing system (50). The processing units have a unit for combining tour information with information that is provided by the real-time clock, the sensor module and/or a positioning unit (42) and for evaluating the combination of the information. The sensor module is provided with a radio frequency identification device (RFID) transponder. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a telematics unit.
