The present invention relates to two methods for the reduction of amorphous iron oxide hydrate after its use as a desulfurizer, which overcome such problems that the existing desulfurizers cannot be restored or the cost of their recovery is very high, resulting in a large amount of spent desulfurizer, which could be reused, goes to waste, which leads not only to the need for the disposal of such waste, but also to environmental pollution.
