METHOD FOR TREATING HIV INFECTION IN AN INDIVIDUAL, METHOD FOR LATENT IMAGE DETECTING OR DIAGNOSING HIV INFECTION IN AN INDIVIDUAL, COMPOSITION. The present invention relates to methods and compositions for treating HIV infection in an individual. The compositions can comprise a target molecule against an HIV antigen, such as an anti-HIV antibody or antibody fragment. The anti-HIV antibody or fragment can be conjugated to a variety of cytotoxic agents, such as doxorubrc ± n. In a preferred embodiment, the antibody or fragment is P4 / D10. Other modalities may concern methods of imaging, detecting or diagnosing HIV infection in an individual using an anti-HIV antibody or fragment conjugated to a diagnostic agent. In alternative embodiments, a bispecific antibody with at least one agglutination site for an HIV antigen and at least one agglutination site for a carrier molecule can be administered, optionally followed by a bleaching agent, followed by administration of a conjugated carrier molecule for a therapeutic agent.
