The difference between a work flowchart and its altered work flowchart can be easily grasped by a third party. A work flowchart comparing device (100) comprises a work flowchart comparing section (112) which compares an element contained in a first data structure representing a work flowchart with an element contained in a second data structure representing a work flowchart and creates a third data structure representing the difference between the first and second data structures and a work flowchart display section (114) which refers to the third data structure before displaying the work flowchart, adds a symbol indicating the difference content to a different element, if any, and displays the work flowchart.
