PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prophylactic or ameliorating agent of menopausal disorder syndromes, very effective for not only systemic feebleness caused by disturbance of feminine hormone balance such as menopausal disorders, juvenile menopausal disorders and premenstrual syndrome (PMS), but also complain of general malaise such as burning sensation, chill, swelling, shoulder discomfort, backache, irritability and anxiety, and lowering of elasticity of the skin, coital pain and acraturesis caused by shrinkage of urogenital organ, hyperlipemia, overweight and osteoporosis.;SOLUTION: The prophylactic or ameliorating agent of the menopausal disorders contains Smilax rhizoma.
