PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line quality reporting method by which an amount of transmission information can be reduced and the accuracy of line quality required for the frequency allocation of a base station can be kept. PSOLUTION: The line quality reporting method includes: a step in which the base station determines a line report index necessary for a mobile station to determine the necessity of a report of the line quality on the basis of a difference between the line quality and target line quality and transmits it; a step in which the mobile station measures the line quality of reception data from the base station and calculates a fluctuation amount of the line quality; a step in which the mobile station determines whether or not to report the line quality for each frequency block on the basis of the fluctuation amount and the line report index; and a step in which the base station allocates frequencies on the basis of the reported line quality.
