PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device of a delta sigma modulator capable of more simply designing the delta sigma modulator.;SOLUTION: The design support device of the delta sigma modulator which supports design of the delta sigma modulator is constituted of: a filter characteristic acquisition part 102 which stores a transfer function of a filter which passes signals with frequencies equal to or more than a cutoff frequency and intercepts signals with frequencies less than the cutoff frequency, substitutes a frequency whose input is accepted by an input part 104 into the cutoff frequency of the transfer function, and acquires the transfer function showing filter characteristics of the filter as an addition formula between a term of only a constant and a term including a Z variable; and a nose shaping characteristic acquisition part 103 which acquires a formula showing noise shaping characteristics of the delta sigma modulator by multiplying the transfer function showing the filter characteristics by an inverse number of the constant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
