PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management system capable of easily managing an article inspection of an article when shipping.;SOLUTION: This article management system has a management terminal 10 issuing a driver tag slip 1 of writing driver information for specifying a driver in charge of carrying of the article, a packing area terminal 20 issuing a cargo number tag slip 2 of writing cargo number information for specifying the article, a loading indication terminal 50 having a first input part for inputting a first IC tag, a second input part for inputting a second IC tag and an IC tag reading part for reading its information by detecting the IC tag input in the first input part and the second input part, and a management server 30 having a storage part and a processing part. The storage part stores associated information on the driver information and the cargo number information. The processing part transmits sending indication information for indicating that sending is prepared to a third terminal when determining that the driver information and the cargo number information received from the loading indication terminal 50 coincide with the associated information preregistered in the storage part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
