PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a COD analyzer for more simply and rapidly fractionating the COD component in wastewater and carry out analysis, and to provide a COD analysis method. PSOLUTION: A wastewater treatment system 100 has the COD analyzer 10, a chemicals supply part 13 for supplying chemicals 12, corresponding to the COD values of a plurality of COD components in wastewater 11 and a wastewater treatment part 14 for treating the COD components by the chemicals 12 supplied from the chemicals supply part 13. The COD analyzer 10 is comprises a COD fractionation part 15 for extracting a part of the wastewater 11 containing a plurality of the COD components and fractionating a plurality of the COD components in the wastewater 11, and a COD analysis part 16 for analyzing a plurality of the COD components in the wastewater 11. A plurality of the COD components in the wastewater 11 are respectively fractionated in the COD fractionation part 15, and a plurality of the COD components in the wastewater 11 are analyzed in the COD analysis part 16.
