PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting movement of chemical substances in soil gas, a method for calculating a removal period of chemical substances in soil gas, and a method for determining disposition of a suction well for removal of chemical substances in soil gas.;SOLUTION: In a method for predicting movement of chemical substances in soil gas, QmD12, QpD1, QpD2, and/or m11 obtained by a one-dimensional column experiment are used to solve an advective-dispersive equation of a gas component 1. In a method for calculating a removal period of chemical substances in soil gas, a period in which a concentration of a specific gas component in soil reaches a prescribed concentration is calculated by the method for predicting movement of chemical substances in soil gas. In a method for determining disposition of a suction well for removal of chemical substances in soil gas, a case where the gas component reaches the prescribed concentration in the shortest period is selected to determine disposition of the suction well.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
