PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system to help consumers choose OTC drugs with which a consumer is able to view information on whether or not an OTC drug is appropriate to the consumer based on the sex and health level of the consumer, normally shown on an attached document, without opening the package of the drug to look at the attached document enclosed in it when buying the OTC drug.SOLUTION: A system to help consumers choose OTC drugs provides an user with information on the contraindication of an OTC drug and the health level of patients in which the OTC drug is contraindicated, at the point of buying the OTC drug, by constructing a database on information on the contraindication of the OTC drug to major diseases in advance by analyzing an document attached to the OTC drug.
