PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce various risks of a liquefied natural gas floating production storage offloading (LNG-FPSO) system.;SOLUTION: The LNG-FPSO system 1 includes: a plant 3 for generating a liquefied gas from a natural gas; a first tank 5-3; second tanks 5-1 and 5-2 different in kind from the first tank 5-3, on a float 2. The LNG-FPSO system 1 stores the liquefied gas generated in the plant 3 into the first tank 5-3, thereafter transports the liquefied gas from the first tank 5-3 to the second tanks 5-1 and 5-2, thereby reducing a half-load period of the second tanks 5-1 and 5-2 as compared with the first tank 5-3, as well as the probability that the second tanks 5-1 and 5-2 are damaged by sloshing. Tanks likely to be damaged by sloshing are used for the second tanks to reduce the damage due to sloshing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
