PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft seal device capable of adjusting easily and correctly a clearance of a rotary part, a clearance adjusting method of a shaft seal device, and a steam turbine equipped with the shaft seal device.;SOLUTION: The shaft seal device includes: a seal segment 31 that is formed to be a ring in the circumferential direction of a turbine rotor 11 and equipped with a segment hook part 34 at the outer diameter side and seal fins 35 at the inner diameter side; and a groove 37 for forming a protrusion that is provided at both sides of the segment hook part 34 in the circumferential direction and is formed so that a part of the end face of the inner diameter side of the segment hook part 34 may be protruded by transforming the groove width in the radial direction. The shaft seal device also includes an engagement groove 32 that is formed to be a ring at the inner peripheral side of a nozzle diaphragm inner ring 13 in the circumferential direction and equipped with a groove part 39 to fit the segment hook part 34, groove hook part 40 to prevent the segment hook part 34 from coming off in the radial direction, and an elastic member 33 mounted in the engagement groove.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
