PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fully autonomous satellite navigation receiver capable of demodulating navigation messages that include ephemerides for navigation system satellites.SOLUTION: A fully autonomous satellite navigation receiver includes a force model of accelerations acting on a particular satellite vehicle, and is exclusive to a receiver. A single observation of an ephemeris for each SV (satellite vehicle) is input and propagated days into the future by integrating each SV's orbital position with its corresponding force model. The fully autonomous satellite navigation receiver thereafter can use extended ephemeris predictions that can be used as substitutes when navigation messages from each SV cannot be immediately obtained and demodulated.
