Electrode assembly includes a (1) fetal electrode connected to the drive tube (31) connected torque limiting section (30). This torque-limiting connection unit, when it reaches once the torque has been determined in advance, it is possible to separate the electrode from the hub drive tube. The electrode hub, drive tube is continuously rotated past the separation point, the deflection surface to direct into the hands of the operator from the fetal electrode and the drive tube (9) is provided.
