PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network construction practicing device whereby a learner can efficiently carry out network construction practices, and a method of controlling the same.;SOLUTION: Exercise files 13-n include setting information on a virtual network for a practice which serves as exercise questions and includes errors in setting information of virtual devices 4-1 to 4-M, and the setting information of the virtual devices 4-1 to 4-M which serves as the correct answers of the exercises. A CPU 2 produces setting information files 14-1 to 14-M for the respective virtual devices 4-1 to 4-M based on the setting information of the virtual devices 4-1 to 4-M input by the learner, converts the setting information files 14-1 to 14-M to an answer file 15, compares the setting information of the virtual devices 4-1 to 4-M which is included in the exercise files 13-n and serves as the correct answer with the setting information of the virtual devices 4-1 to 4-M included in the answer file 15, and displays the result of the comparison on a display 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
