The system has an angular shifting unit arranged directly and entirely on a head (12) of a clutching fork (10) and on a fulcrum pin (20) of the fork in order to permit compensation of usury of a friction liner of a cable clutch. The shifting unit is provided with an adaptor (14) notched interiorly and integrated to the head of the fork, and a retaining nut (30) that is arranged coaxial to the pin. The retaining nut presses the head of the fork on the pin in a closing position. An independent claim is also included for a method for compensation of usury of a friction liner of a cable clutch.
