Universal spherical cardan joint for transmitting torque from male end to female end in car application, has female element incorporating male element and female hemisphere to assure movement between parts assembled by machining process
The joint has two hemi-toroidal cavities of a spherical male end (1) comprising rotation radius that is equal to difference between a radius of a ball of a male element (3) and radius of junction balls (4). A female element incorporates the male element and a female hemisphere in a continuous manner or discontinuous manner to assure any translatory movement between the two male and female parts. The parts are assembled by machining process, molding process, extrusion process, forging mill and heat or chemical treatment.
