The method involves determining belongingness of digital work to a value class using a software filter (2), and setting a base quoted rate for the class and the digital work. Discount or premium for the digital work is applied. Delivery price of authors' royalties is associated with the digital work. A rework rate is applied over the delivery price of authors' royalties. A price offer for acquiring the cession of the authors' royalties, is obtained.
