Medical device for use in medical field to extract fragments of urinary tract segments in urethra track of patient, has irrigation equipment projecting irrigation liquid against expansible element to extract fragments
The device has a catheter (1) provided with an inflatable balloon shaped expansible element (2) that is transversely expanded outside the catheter. Irrigation equipments are arranged behind the expansible element with respect to an end of the catheter introduced in urethra track. The irrigation equipments project irrigation liquid against the expansible element to extract fragments of urinary tract segments by flowing liquid outside the track along a direction of proximal end of the catheter when the expansible element is in expanded state and to partially block the catheter. The device includes an expansible structure that is made of memory-shape alloy or nickel alloy and titanium.
