Catalyst, comprising silver deposited on aluminum oxide and titanium oxide, is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) a catalytic conversion device comprising the catalyst disposed on a monolith; (2) treating exhaust gases from an engine comprising contacting the exhaust with the catalyst or with the catalytic converter device; and (3) vehicle comprising an engine and an exhaust line connected to the output of the engine, where the catalyst or the catalytic converter device is disposed in the exhaust line.
