Support for diffusion of volatile chemical substances e.g. pheromone, comprises a mineral matrix such as sodium aluminosilicate or calcium aluminosilicate (bentonite), unit for hardening mineral matrix, and hydrophobic coating surface
The diffusion support comprises a mineral matrix such as sodium aluminosilicate (50-70%) or calcium aluminosilicate (30-50%) (bentonite), a unit for hardening the mineral matrix, and a hydrophobic coating surface. The hydrophobic coating comprises a paper casing resistant to moisture, which comprises two strips of paper coated on one side with an adhesive. The coated sides are intended to come against one another in the diffusion support. The hydrophobic coating comprises latex, varnish or other material resistant to moisture. An independent claim is included for a process for fabricating a diffusion support.
