The cladding has two elements (6, 7) that are joined hermetically when a window or French window is closed. Each element is carried by a part of the window/French window, armature (5) or support frame (4), where one of the elements comprises a trapezoidal section. Insulating spaces (10) of one of the elements are closed by interfacing with the armature or support frame. The spaces represent 50 percentages of the thickness of the considered element. The elements are made of wood, wood derivatives or wood polymer. A jamb (15) of one of the elements forms a joint in a side of a glazing (2).
