The present invention relates to a system for cleaning a flow of crop, comprising a suction device between an inlet (1) and an output (2), said inlet being equipped with a hood (5) in which is formed a circulation path of the flow of aspirated air between said inlet and a suction opening (6), said suction device further comprising a drum (7) in rotation with respect to said receptacle, said receptacle is positioned in the drum in order to form a suction zone (10) on the outside of said wall, said suction zone is delimited circumferentially by two edges, respectively upstream and downstream (10a) and (10b), said system also comprises a conveyor (11) of the supply of the flow of crop, a device (12, 13) for the recovery of the portion of the flow of crop which is not sucked up and a device (14, 15) for the recovery of the portion of the flow of crop which has been drawn on the said zone, the path of circulation of the hood (7) includes means (16, 19, 20) forming a deflector for the flow of aspirated air, said means being arranged to control the speed of the air stream along the suction opening (6).
